Aloo Prantha’s, Aam Panna and Lassi made 70 VSNL employees to stop at Hinduja and Lilavati hospitals. I know it sounds little weird, but that’s what happened, when 70 VSNL employees tasted special menu of the subsidized office canteen at Prabhadevi.





Employees of Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) complained of nausea and vomitting after having special food in the canteen. Police is looking through the whole case and in this regard even visited the VSNL office so as to question the owner and manager of the caterer-’DKC Caterers’, who provides food at the VSNL Canteen.



Dr Khusrav Bajal, consultant, emergency critical care and internal medicine, Hinduja Hospital, said:



Of the 46 patients we admitted, some have been discharged. Six patients have been shifted to the general ward since we want to monitor them. They could suffer from dehydration later on and might need medical help. One patient was shifted to the ICU.



Next time when there is special menu, think twice, might land you in hospital .
