Doctors backtrack to their wards and classesStriking doctors finally decided to honour the Supreme Court orders and resume back to their respective duties.



This option was taken after a long general body meeting of the doctors. Earlier. even the Union health ministry’s threatening regarding termination of the striking doctors could not scare the medicos.



All that can be said is that the SUPREME Court directive did what even government’s repetitive discussions could not do: I mean persuade medicos to call off their strike and return to classes and wards.

I respect the decision taken by doctors to resume their duties. But the govenment should not feel that this is the end of the agitaion against the quotas.
the doctors or the protesters of quotas gave due respect to the order given by the SC and hence they have called off.
If the decision of implementing quota is brought back again, the protesters have to again repeate their action but this time they will not believe the govenment and will not call off their strike untill the bill for reservation has been cancelled out.
