Govinda on intimidation buzz's, for his homecoming on big screenActor and Congress MP Govinda has claimed that he has been receiving threat calls and has informed the Union Home Ministry and Congress Party High Command regarding all the threats and related calls.

Whereas Govinda has denied the reports that the calls were geared up by underworld, he considers that certain local anti-social elements were causing all this trouble to incapacitate the revitalization of his silver screen career. He is mostly worried about safety of his son Yashovardhan (12), who studies in VII standard at Jamnabai Narsee School, Juhu.

Govinda said:

We are disturbed and scared. Over the past one week, I have received life-threatening calls concerning my family. I have discussed the details with the Congress high command.

Govinda has in recent times, six films in his bag, with some of the renowned directors such as Nikhil Advani, David Dhawan, Priyadarshan and Pahlaj Nihalani. A propos to all these threats, a meeting of family members and cherished friends was held so that this matter is not too much publicized and in any way would upshot the homecoming of Govinda as an entertainer.

Seems this time, Govinda, is all set to bring into play threat call as a gimmick to hold the public inquisitiveness and do the facade for his up-coming films.

Dear Salman/Sanjay(Munna Bhai)/ Govinda Ji,

I know that you have millions of diehard fans around the world, and I belong to one of them from your neighboring country Nepal. I just wanted to write you to share my story which has some connection with you in my real life and I appreciate the good works you do in films and apart reel life, you guys are truly genuine, kind and big hearted human beings. There are hundreds of celebrities who have their personal life being disturbed….but the good works they do is what actually counts. I have seen you guys face lots of trouble in personal life..but the good cause you do for people and the fine art you portray in the films and the social message you give to people is what really matters. I know it only makes you strong and helps to move on.

I want to share some personal thoughts and emotions with you being a fan…I think I have not missed much films yours and there are thousands of guys here who want to look like you and girls who admire you. I am male 27, come from a financially troubled family, and have been diagnosed with depression since last 6 months. I have been taking medication under the consultation of a doctor, I also took some counseling but didn’t help much though I have been fighting and fighting alone. As you know, here, I guess in India too, people suffering from mental health problems are looked in a negative way but not with love and compassion.. But even though I have been leading isolated life with just a room and a TV set, the fact is that I have been watching many of your films, and you guys have been a motivating factor in my life. Recently, I watched lageraho Munna Bhai(Munna Bhai MBBS), Salman’s Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, and Govinda’s all the movies from past decade (seeing again and again), and I have been gaining a lot of positive attitude towards life though I know medicine only helps me to fight.

So, the films you do and the way you encourage, motivate, and give smiles in a face of a depressed guy like me are highly appreciable and I salute you guys with all the humbleness and wish you all the best. Keep up the good works.

Smiles,
Samir (name changed)

P;s..pls forward this to,salman sanjay & Govinda
