The government is thinking of introducing an atomic power plant at Kumharia in Haryana. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that this proposal will come in to effect and will be considered seriously only after India’s dive into the next stage of developing nuclear power.
Foundation stone for Rs 325 core six-laning project of the Panipat national highway was laid by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, which is to be completed in three years span.
The project is undertaken by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and probably will be focusing to unclog Panipat route, construct of an elevated highway for long-distance vehicles, exclusive ground level space for local traffic.
This project is under NHAI’s North-South corridor project for four- and six-laning of highways connecting Srinagar and Kanyakumari.
The concessionaire for this project is L&T Panipat Elevated Corridor Pvt Ltd, which will be undertaken on a BOT basis.Concession period for this will be 20 years where as funding component of Rs 96.4 crore will used as feasibility gap.
By means of unfolding this package, which has instore lot of development plans for Haryana, I think Mr. Singh is very sure that Haryana will be earning great benefits from this massive programme along with total transformation of Haryana villages.
Seems, Haryana is all set be a numero uno state of the country
