Mild tremors in DelhiIndia has experienced some of the world’s most devastating earthquakes taking into its clutches hundred of innocent lives. Earthquakes have claimed hundreds of thousands of lives in the last 100 years and improvements in technology have only slightly reduced the death toll.



This is devastating history of earthquakes in India made people to panic last night when mild tremors shook Delhi and adjoining areas forcing people to run out of their homes at night hour.



The earthquake, with intensity 4.1 on the richter scale, struck at 2131 hrs IST was reported with no causality at all.The epicenter of the earthquake was said to be between Jhajjar and Rohtak in Haryana.



Another earthquake of slight intensity shook parts of quake-prone Kutch region of Gujarat, measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale, was felt at 2025 hrs IST.

Going by statistics, India is one of the countries worst affected by disasters in South Asia.
