Today India has established its mark as one of the IT rich counties. But still People have grudges that their visas for pilgrimages are not being issued through internet. As manual visa work is taking lot of time and mostly the sikh pilgrimages are in Pakistan, so speedy visa work is need which not being followed.



Amritsar-Nankana Sahib bus service is scheduled to begin from March 24 and now they have grown impatient and are demanding that visas be processed online to reduce delays due to paperwork. Thousands of Sikhs have been waiting enthusiastically to cross the border and offer prayers at Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev where as other pilgrims are also articulating apprehensions about the delays in visa processing.



The point here is if we have grown so much in technology then why our own government offices are not utilizing it and are still working with age old system of pen and paper?
