Now all those who have given various entrance tests like CAT can add private colleges as well to their list as well. The fees and admission procedures in private colleges from this academic session will be regulated as per the governments new policy. The Government is all set to take all potential steps so that it can put into practice its declared policy.

The LDF Government in Kerala has decided not to recognise the entrance examinations conducted by self-financing professional college managements...the managements have to admitt students from the list prepared by the Common Entrance Examinations conducted by different departments of the government.......





DNA:


Students who took the government’s Common Entrance Test (CET) can now choose from 115 private unaided engineering colleges as well. They can also use the centralised admission process (CAP) of the Directorate of Technical Education.The DTE has laid down guidelines to begin admissions to these colleges, which opted out of the private CET. The colleges will conduct the first and second rounds of admissions through the CAP......

The chaos surrounding fees and admissions for medical and engineering colleges is only getting worse with private colleges and the government hardening their stands. Defiant managements of private colleges have once again raised their favourite threat-to shut down if their demands are not met.........
