India is all set for the shortest version ‘Twenty20′ of their much-loved game- ‘Cricket‘.



IBN-CNN reports that BCCI has finally officially declared that ‘Twenty20′cricket will now be played in India, in which state teams will play twenty20 matches at their home grounds as well as other bases. Oops, means exhilarating cricket will now be just near to our home.



This match will last for just three hours and Indian Cricket fans will be able to enjoy this from April 2007 onwards.



Although the point that is tickling my mind until now is how many times us have religiously went to watch a Ranji match, I am sure score of these people will be very less, and majority who would have gone must be because of some special reasons. So the point is will this Twenty20 match concept actually electrify we Indians.



So now, all we can do is to wait n watch that whether from April 2007, people on a weekends, will go and enjoy and try Twenty20 match or will still go for the latest movie released.
