The bogus party slogans: First it was 'India Shining', now it is  'Aam Admi'Congress ran for the 2004 elections with their campaign tagged as Aam Adhmi-’common man’.



However after chosen and coming to power all of a sudden government has scrub out this ‘Aam Adhmi’ mania and has hopped for economic factor–the Petroleum Minister has at the end of the day after long discussions and debates increased fuel prices - now onwards common man will get petrol dearer by 4 rupees and diesel by 2.



The question after this price hike that is tickling my brain is-Is this the government that we voted for cheating us?



Although the Congress-led government has very easily taken a safe side by saying that they don’t have any other option. But they could easily have pared the heavy taxes on petroleum products.



Nevertheless, the question is if the countries like Pakistan and Malaysia can manage oil prices lower then why can’t we? Especially with a ruling government, which claims to work for ‘Aam Adhmi’.



Yet another slogan bites the dust.
